A1 Drains were in Clonee Dublin 15 in the Northside of Dublin this week, attending to a blocked drainage system. The property owners where complaining of a strong sewage smell in the air so our engineers were called out as a matter of urgency.

Our engineer first lifted all the foul manhole covers to see if they could find a blockage or the cause of the home owners complaint. No issues were found so they proceeded to then lift all the rainwater manhole covers which were found to be completely blocked up.
With this type of blockage we would approach it with our high pressure water jetting equipment to clear it downstream to the adjoining property. After this drainage was completed our engineers would have cleaned and disinfected the area and left it in a tidy condition.
